Big Opera Moments (includes CARMEN excerpt)
CARMEN is a grand opera with a large cast giving it their all. In advance of our impressive new staging of Bizet’s masterpiece, we’ve prepared this montage of grand “full company” moments from recent Seattle Opera productions. This 90-second video includes:
-The awesome Act I Finale from Puccini’s TOSCA (2015)
-The off-to-the-picnic celebration “Oh, I Can’t Sit Down” from Gershwin’s PORGY AND BESS (2018)
-The thrilling “Battle Cry” from Verdi’s AIDA (2018)
-A brief excerpt of the “Toreador Song” from our 2011 presentation of Bizet’s CARMEN
