It depends, but a filing bankruptcy together will usually result in less fees since only one case would be filed.
Can I get divorced while I'm in a bankruptcy case?
It is possible to get divorced while in bankruptcy, but if you do it the court will need to approve the divorce settlement. Also, you will no longer be able to remain in the joint case.
