UW Medicine to lead psilocybin therapy study | UW Medicine
A trial study, decreed by a new Washington state law, will measure the impact of psychedelic mushrooms (psilocybin) coupled with psychotherapy. Dr. Nathan Sackett, an addiction psychiatrist and an acting assistant professor in Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington School of Medicine, will oversee the trial.
