Love and Punishment (Aşk ve Ceza) is a Turkish drama series that aired from January 5, 2010, to June 27, 2011, on ATV.
A young woman loses faith in love and commitment after catching her fiancé in bed with another woman just days before their wedding. Her thirst for revenge haunts her and "leads" to a casual encounter with a stranger from a bar. They spend the night together, resulting in both of them experiencing two conflicting feelings: love and hate. It turns out that the stranger from the bar—a member of a respected and wealthy family—is searching for the mysterious owner of a pendant he kept as a memento of that wonderful night. He is actively involved in the family business, but after discovering that the money was earned illegally, he decides to bring the entire business back on track and modernize the company through innovative reforms. Meanwhile, obeying family tradition, he is forced to marry his late brother's fiancée. The paths of the two characters cross once again as they face complex struggles, hidden secrets, and difficult choices. As family disputes, obligations, and ambitions intervene in their destinies, a crucial question arises... Will generational traditions outweigh the young people's sudden love?
