Getting Purple 2023 Service medal Tier 4 | CS2
Here it finally is!
The long awaited Purple Medal of 2023!!!!
Done all legit with casual, unranked and deathmatch.
(and ranked*)

So... most of you all know that I exclusively play casual, unranked and deathmatch for the entire life time of csgo.
Having the world record of unranked purple medals and sitting on a hour count of 20.000 hours.
But as you already know, all things come to an end, even this world record.
As of November 29 - 2023 I started playing ranked.
Reason?
Because in CS2 they removed the unranked game mode...
I grew so used to playing short unranked matches and really liked the good xp rates but that all changed when CS2 was released.
No more unranked or short matches for that matter.
For a while I tried to force my self back into the habit of playing deathmatch and casual for many hours a day again but after 6 weeks I got completely burned out.
I had not much time left for my self, and wanted back that flexible xp schedule I had in CS:GO.
Solution? I finally gave in and started playing ranked.
After 8 years of playing casual and unranked, it was time to move on.
I played my first competitive match on main probably since 5 years, and I aced in the first round :3!
From that moment I knew it was a sign and I just straight went for it.
Now that my xp rates are back to fast, I can focus on other things while still grinding out medals.
As of today, dec 15 - 2023, I actually haven't received my first rank yet, but that will soon change when I manage to win 10 games on a map.
I might do a little reveal video when I find out what my rank is :)
Anyways, the past 3 months were a emotional rollercoaster but things start to look good again.
See you all in 2025 hopefully where I will once again compete for world record holder and will be the first person to own 5 purple medals!
