This is part two of setting up margins, gutter margins and page layout in Canva for Amazon KDP. In this video, I build on part one and show how to set up interiors correctly using ruler guides, grid lines, and trim size guidance.
I cover working with bleed and no bleed, inside and outside margins, and how to alternate left and right pages properly for paperback and hardcover books. I also explain chapter page placement, page numbering, headers, and how to create reusable templates that save hours on future books.
Towards the end of the video, I go through the differences between fiction and non-fiction layouts, including paragraph indentation, justified text, spacing control, and how to avoid common readability issues. This is a practical, step-by-step walkthrough to help you produce clean, professional interiors that pass review and read well.
