If both the freezer and refrigerator compartments suddenly malfunction, it is highly likely to be a compressor issue. If the compressor isn't spinning and is just getting hot, try replacing the relay and overloader protector. If it makes a lot of noise when shaken, it is broken!
If your fridge freezer is getting warm on both sides, you should check the relay and overloader protector!
