Evening on the rooftops, a web of dark and light. Stars shine gold and blue on my face, in my hair. My steps are silent, and deep within me rhythmically sounds the sorrow of walking through dust and wind. So come with me, we will walk quietly together. I know that on the shore of midnight we will see the last light. G-d walked through my nights, robed in lightning, and his steps within me resounded and played with light. And stars twinkled on my face, in my hair. If G-d is present in our dreams, then he exists in reality. The path to him is midnight and dust and wind, and all of us notice this light, the blind old man and the child. So come with me, we will walk quietly together. I know that on the shore of midnight we will see the last light.
