Presenting the reason for our terrible upload schedule of late: our Drink & Cringe playthrough of Borderlands 3 begins here! Essentially wrapping a playthrough and in-depth critical (and hopefully funny) review up together and then marinading them in alcohol.
Borderlands 3 is mechanically a good game, sadly the writing left a lot to be desired, so much so that we turned gameplay into a drinking game: whenever we cringe at something in game, we drink... and whenever we complain about it, we also drink... and whenever we say nasty things about Randy Pitchford, we drink... Which, as you can probably imagine lead to a nostalgia(and rum)-fuelled trip through the Borderlands series.
We decided to use the Redux Mod for this playthrough in the hopes that it would improve the gameplay experience, while still allowing us to revel in the terribly bad plot and comedy writing of Borderlands 3.
