We finally got our cave carver, but it was after we left for the camping trip, so next time, we'll build our snow cave much faster. But seriously, what a cool experience.
I'm definitely in the market for new gloves. I'm going to bring 3 pairs next time. 1 for digging, 1 for warmth at night and a 3rd pair just in case. Hand warmer packs saved me when temps hit about -20c (-4f) overnight.
Can't wait to do this again and work on a rink for skating soon.
