Since 2008, Tecgraf's Visualization and Reservoirs group, that I worked for, started to offer Multi-Touch solutions to our clients. We worked mainly with Perceptive Pixel and UTouch commercial displays. At this time, another Tecgraf's group called Augmented Reality and Digital Interactivity started to create our own Multi-Touch hardware.
Using those different displays, we created specific software solutions to our client's TV shows. We can highlight some of them:
Beijing 2008 Olympic Games (All day news -- Globo TV)
3DReplay Touch (Soccer commentary program -- Sport TV)
"Placar da Rodada" (Soccer games highlights -- Globo TV)
"Detetive Virtual" (Curiosities from Internet -- Fantástico/Globo TV)
Brazilian's Elections 2008 (All day news -- Globo TV)
Brazilian's Soccer Championship 2009 (Main news show -- Fantástico/Globo TV)
For each solution we had to develop a whole new software using just a base framework developed to deal with the different displays.
