What are Factions? (New Monarchy, Dead Orbit, Future War Cult)
Factions have been absent from Destiny 2 for about eight seasons now, and everyone who joined Destiny 2 post-Year 1 have no idea what these factions were or what purpose they served. Bungie hasn't ever confirmed if or when factions would return in Destiny 2, but I personally believe that they're deserving of a return. Who knows? Maybe this could happen sometime in Year 4.
