This choral celebration of the joy that comes from believing in oneself is an adaption of two songs: I’ve Got That Joy, Joy, Joy (a “jubilee” style African American spiritual) and Ain’t Gon’ Let Nobody Turn Me Round (a civil rights freedom song, expressing the determination of the people who were fighting for what they believed in–equal rights and justice for all).
