HU Empower Business Pitch Competition
Since 2019, HU EMPOWER has been the premier entrepreneurship pitch competition for Howard University students. This event encourages and supports the entrepreneurial spirit of Howard’s social engineers, innovators, and creative thinkers, providing funding, mentorship, or other resources to grow their ventures. To date the competition has awarded funding to over fifty (50) undergraduate and graduate student entrepreneurs from a variety of majors and disciplines across Howard University.
The 2024 HU EMPOWER Pitch Competition is scheduled to be hosted on Wednesday March 27th at 5 pm on the campus of Howard University. This year’s competition will see eight finalists pitch their ventures for a $20,000 Grand Prize and over $50,000 in total funding.
