Trains at London Waterloo - 01/10/2024
Filmed on 01/10/2024. Another re visit a station which is a first for 8 years since 2016. This is up for debate on this could be the busiest London terminal station but few can disagree. Some might say this station comes second to London Liverpool Street but we can't be too sure. People have their say but this is London Waterloo (Season 11 Episode 21)
The home for just the one train operator of South Western Railway which is one of a few London terminals which just has one train operator. At long last, the introduction of the new class 701's are now finally in service. With a few which are still based at Long Marsden awaiting for transfer to South Western Railway prior to training. These units being built at Derby are formed of either 8 or 10 carriages.
After major refurbishment, the class 458/8's have finally been refurbished which has mixed reviews about them for the moment but time will tell to see for more feedback on the pro's and cons. Either to work on circular services or to Windsor & Eaton Riverside and to Reading.
