CYBERPUNK 2077 on Steam Deck | Gameplay + Best Settings
Settings used in this video guarantee stable 30FPS (dips are very rare and non-invasive).
A couple notes:
This guide applies to the Steam version of Cyberpunk 2077. I experienced significant frame drops when using the GOG version of the game on Steam Deck, even on lowest settings (not related to shader compilation).
While motion blur is generally a subjective thing, I recommend keeping it on High when playing Cyberpunk 2077 at 30FPS. Game looks choppy at low framerate with no motion blur.
Crowd density set to Low makes the streets of Night City look rather empty but it helps with performance a lot.
Stable 40FPS is not possible without making the game look blurry. Not to mention 60FPS.
Dynamic resolution scaling causes artefacts on Steam Deck. Do NOT use.
Colour precision has to be set to High. Otherwise, you might experience flickering on objects.
I'm also showing my in-game control settings in the video. Default controller settings felt weird for me since day one and I highly recommend tinkering with those.
