How to fix PreSonus AudioBox 1818VSL on Windows 10 (Firmware 1.49 + Driver 1.3)

*How I Fixed a PreSonus AudioBox 1818VSL on Windows 10 (Code 10 / Red USB Sync / No Audio Routing)*
This video documents how I got a used AudioBox 1818VSL fully working again on Windows 10 x64 with Studio One 4 after dealing with:
Code 10 driver errors
Red USB Sync light / interface not syncing
Universal Control problems
No Windows or DAW audio playback
Main volume knob not functioning correctly
Firmware confusion between VSL mode and newer Universal Control mode
*The fix that worked for me:*
1. Install Universal Control v3.6.0.66460 (link below)

2. Update AudioBox firmware to v1.49 when prompted in Universal Control
3. Install AudioBox 1818VSL Driver 1.3 (link below) (CLICK CHECKBOX FOR "CREATE DESKTOP SHORTCUT")

4. Reboot
5. Open the AudioBox desktop shortcut and follow the “Firmware Update” prompt (Don't worry- this creates a "state change" in the Audiobox that allows all audio to be routed through it- NOT a true firmware update.)
6. Confirm proper audio routing in Windows/Studio One
7. (Bonus) double click the AudioBox desktop shortcut to VSL software- navigate to Setup menu to set your ASIO buffer size (You'll likely have to adjust buffer size there from now on, not in Song Setup on StudioOne)
