The song idea came from an elderly couple at the hospital I work at.
It was my honor to help them.
The wife had suffered a heart attack with a stroke.
This couple was in their 90's and had been married for 70 years.
I remember standing outside her room
and just listening to her husband talking softly,
holding her hand. You could feel so much love in that room.
He stayed with her for almost 48 hours and then she passed,
after all we tried to do to save her.
I was telling my wife about this story and it got me to thinking,
what would i do without her.
I want that kind of Love for the rest of our lives.
I'm lucky I have found my soulmate.
This song is to Honor that Wonderful couple
and for the Guys and Gals who have that kind of love.
Don't take it for granted.
