Nehir (Biran Damla Yılmaz) is an orphan who was taken off the streets by Zerrin (Sumru Yavrucuk), whom she considers a mother. The two make a living by swindling wealthy men in the country. Nehir dislikes her life and laments the fact that she can never be herself, always resorting to different personas to deceive her victims. When she meets Nazim (Feyyaz Duman), a foreman working on the construction of a dam, the young woman's perspective changes, because with him there are no secrets or false identities; she can be herself. The two stay in touch through the internet, but have never met in person. In one of their conversations, Nehir sends a photo of herself and asks Nazim for one, who, fearing that she will reject him because of the scar on his face, ends up sending a photo of one of the construction workers' faces. Tarik (Burak Yörük), the son of the owner of the company responsible for the construction project, is sent to the site as punishment for his irresponsible behavior.
