Disconnect This Display Stuck on Dell Laptop with External Monitors
This is a quick video on how to resolve an issue where a Dell Laptop fails to extend the desktop to an external monitor. I had the monitors connected by HDMI, but when I would try to extend the desktop to the second monitor, the option kept reverting back to 'Disconnect this display'. This was resolved by uninstalling the Dell Display Manager application.
