i feel like im missing a holiday? D:
anyway. i only used a bit of the song, go listen to the rest of it!! i was struggling to find a song i wanted to animate to and then i found fish in a birdcage and then i found my dream my addiction and now here we are :D i first read watership down when i was younger! i watched the film as well - and ik a lot of ppl got scarred for life from the film but i didnt think it was that bad at the time? if uve never read watership down get off youtube and go read it! when i was reading, cowslips warren always fascinated me. i wanted to know what it was like to really live there, since in the books we only really see it from hazel's perspective, whos an outsider.
onto the drawing itself :) i really liked and really hated colouring at the same time. sometimes picking colours was easy and fun and then sometimes it was very annoying and unfun!! i wanted the colours to look quite grey and sad, which was a bit of a struggle because i like using bright colours more. also i wanted to do coloured outlines because i havent done those recently :]
sorry there wasn't an animation last month, this was supposed to be last month's video but i didn't manage to finish it on time... but its here now!! better late than never? :D next video might not be next month either, i will try but lifes been a bit hectic :') but on a lighter note! recently ive been working on my ocs lore since it was all over the place before! its actually been rlly fun, ive been getting into worldbuilding since i've watched one too many worldbuilding videos and now i cant go back :D
i rlly waffled on in this months description... my theory is bc there wasnt one last month. so ive got two entire months of waffle stored in my brain that needs to escape

PS theres a watership down graphic novel that came out recently. i say recently but knowing my memory it probably came out a decade ago and i only just realised.. anyway i dont have it but the art looks rlly nice :)
