Open and talent bump from the 11pm newscast on Nexstar's ABC affiliate in Erie, Pennsylvania, from Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
Earlier that day, the station launched their new graphics (MOD_03 from Nexstar's hub). They also adopted the "JET Action News" brand for both WJET and sidecar station WFXP, which dropped the separate FOX 66 branding for its newscasts. A modified logo was implemented to remove the "24" and ABC logo. Finally, WJET had its voiceover downgraded to someone from SpotVoice.com since they charge less money. Legendary, longtime voice of WJET, Ray Otis, was unceremoniously replaced with Sean King.
The station kept "Aerial" from Stephen Arnold Music for its theme.
