Rob started out in the nuclear industry writing analytical code for fluid dynamics, before getting dragged into rocket science where he has now spent over 30 years in the space industry doing start-ups and growing companies. Rob loves the commercial side of the space industry and how it has made an impact on people's lives, often without them realising. After his last company was sold to a large US corporation Rob started looking for the next exciting thing which he thought would combine space and IoT. A guy called Thomas Telkamp kept cropping up ... and by some strange serendipity they ended up with Lacuna as a start up and Rob is loving (almost) every minute of it.
