How to Make Chocolate Soil
Chocolate soil is a great addition to any cake and making your own couldn’t be easier!
METHOD:
1. Start by adding 150g of caster sugar and 1 tbsp of water to a saucepan and mix to combine.
2. Put the pan on a medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle boil, but do not stir.
3. Remove from the heat when the outer edges turn amber and add 20g of dark chocolate.
4. Whisk quickly until the chocolate melts and keep whisking until the soil has formed.
Piece of cake!
