Musima Eterna de Luxe Electric Guitar — Deluxe from the East German Guitar Factory
In this episode, we take a look at a true object of desire for many Soviet guitarists of the late 1960s and early 1970s — the Musima Eterna de Luxe electric guitar. This was the top model produced by the East German Musima company in the late 1960s.
As usual, we talk about the history of the East German guitar industry, the technical design and unique features of the instrument, and try to extract sounds of varying degrees of musicality from it.
The spoken language of the video is Russian.
For those who are new to the channel:
I am a guitar collector (not a musician) and occasionally build guitars myself. So yes — I know I play poorly, you can hear it, and I’m fully aware that you can hear it.
