Into The Abyss
This original short film was made in July 2021 by a team of Oyler students who came together for 2 weeks straight (Mon-Fri), 6 hours per day. The movie starred Maurice Oliver, Lorniya Davis and Andrea Holbrook. It was directed by Lamont Sargent. The rest of the crew included James Bradley, Kierrah Taylor-Brown and Keeziah Britten. The story was pitched and written from scratch and these students went through the entire production process, including scripting, shot blocking and editing, all the way up to the film's showing at a summer showcase.
Special thanks to Frank O'Farrell and his interns with Fourthwall Youth Studios. Their energy, guidance, equipment and organization helped make this film camp a huge success.
