🦝Angry Birds Transformers Neon Sunstreaker showcased run | (Prime Pass exclusive)🦝
Today is day 1 of TFCon and I said in a post yesterday that I have a video queued up for each day this weekend and this is another 1 of those videos.
But I have 2 new neon re-releases from the Prime-Pass in Angry Birds Transformers to take a look at and unfortunately Rovio is STILL releasing neon re-releases off of random characters instead of making neon re-releases off of each character from every past season of the Prime-Pass.
Instead of releasing a neon re-release of Sergeant Omega Supreme and Sergeant Devastator from season 10 of the Prime-Pass we have a neon re-release of Sunstreaker and Skywarp.
Skywarp has actually appeared in the Prime-Pass back in season 11 but Sunstreaker has not appeared in the Prime-Pass yet. He’s yet another character who has a neon version but not a Prime Pass version just like Neon Bludgeon, Neon Bumblebee, and Neon Soundblaster.
So it feels weird that they didn’t just go back to the pattern of re-releasing past characters because it still seems like they’re just making stuff up as they go along.
But anyway enough about that today I’ll be taking a look at Neon Sunstreaker.
His neon effects aren't good at all in my opinion. He basically has a bunch of neon yellow bits all over his orange body and the orange color scheme looks very bad in my opinion. The neon effects don’t blend in too much and that has happened with other neon re-releases to my disappointment, but since the neon effects here don’t look good in the slightest I almost wish they blended in more.
His weapon is ok but it’s unfortunately exactly the same as Normal Sunstreaker’s weapon. But thankfully it’s an extremely powerful weapon because it’s a continuously-fireable beam of energy. I would’ve liked to change in firepower here and it’s unfortunate that we didn’t get that but at least Normal Sunstreaker has a powerful weapon.
Neon Sunstreaker is portrayed by one of the cutest Angry Birds and characters in general: Bubbles who also portrayed the normal version of Sunstreaker. I’m quite happy that they didn’t change who portrayed Neon Sunstreaker because Bubbles and Sunstreaker go pretty well together and those sounds Bubbles makes are absolutely adorable.
