Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, established on 1 June 1960, now has 21 undergraduate programs (S1), 11 postgraduate programs (S2), and 4 professional programs.
Faculties: Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) and Faculty of Business Administration and Communication Studies (since 1960), Faculty of Education and Language (FPB) and Faculty of Engineering (since 1961), Faculty of Law (FH) since 1965, Faculty of Medicine (FK) since 1967, Faculty of Psychology (FP) since 1992, and Faculty of Biotechnology (FTb), which is also the first faculty of biotechnology in Indonesia, since 2002

Graduate School of Business and Economics: Master of Management (MM), Master of Business Administration (MABI), Master of Accounting (MAKSI), and Master of Applied Economics (MET) with a specialization in Economics and Banking (Financial Risk).

Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia has 3 campuses:
Semanggi Campus as the Center for Nation Development (3,6 ha)
Developing various studies which are very relevant to the synergy of Business-Government-Community.
Pluit Campus as the Center for Health Development (4,2 ha)
Providing exceptional, qualified, and internationally-recognized medicine and pharmacy education through experiential learning hospital method with Atma Jaya Hospital.
BSD Campus as the Center for Human Development in BSD (20 ha)
Focusing on students’ character development as the successors of the nation.
Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia has received various honors and awards. In 2017, it became one of 17 Indonesian higher education institutions getting to Asian Top 400 based on QS ranking. It received the Grant Program of PT Asuh 2017-2018 and the Grant Program of Penguatan Kantor Urusan Internasional 2012-2016 from Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti). In 2016, it was accredited A by National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN PT) and it became one of Indonesian best 50 promising universities with education, research and community service achievements recognized both nationally and internationally. It also received Indonesian National Standard (SNI Awards) 2015, 2016, 2017. It became the representative model of Drug-Free Private University in 2014 from Indonesian National Narcotics Agency (BNN) and Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora). It received the predicate as the remarkable private university 2012 and 2013 in quality assurance, academic culture, full-time lecturer training, research and community service, and student guidance.
