I recommend using heavy weight canvas, denim, or twill fabric for this sewing project. I am using an upholstery fabric. Finished bag measures in at approximately 12H X 14W X 1D inches FOLDED and 114H X 14W X 1D inches UNFOLDED. Great size for a everyday essentials and school items. Or, you can easily change the size of the bag to custom measurements fit a laptop or tablet. This is a great sewing project for beginners and anyone who is new to sewing.
