Choro em Mi Maior - Raphael Rabello
Dear All, I'm posting a short nice piece...I'd say.. a real "divertimento" (divertissement ?) , for which I just had the time to put in writing (watching a video by Yamandu Costa) and play ... pls be indulgent :-)
When Yamandu Costa and Rogério Caetano were recording their album in Duo, between 2011 and 2012, the musicians researched works by other guitarists for the repertoire. Until Luciana Rabello, the sister of the late guitarist Raphael Rabello found a K7 tape with some memories of his brother. There was "Choro em Mi Maior". Yamandu and Rogério fell in love with the composition and had the immense pleasure of putting an unprecedented song in the repertoire. Since then, Yamandu presents this work in his concerts as a tribute to Raphael Rabello.
