They say pinnacle events occur in 3s. Well, 3 months after the first single from Odd Pilot’s “Cabin Fever 2” project & after last month’s drop with “Here,” the Maine-based production wizard brings us more of his eerie synth-heavy sonics - this time with Fortified Mind - an mc bred in Wilmington NC and currently residing in Cologne, Germany. “The Special Force” heralds the release of the entire album later this month with a video filmed at the famed Cologne Cathedral.
“The Special Force” is a barrage of lyrical prowess behind another otherworldly soundscape provided by Odd Pilot - from sample to mastering, he’s taken the helm in all the engineering duties. Fortified Mind guides us through an unfolding of his stream of consciousness - tapping into that which connects us all. The lyrics are razor sharp and
fit right into the pocket the Pilot’s provided.
