On 1–2 June, the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the EU – in collaboration with the EIC – will host a high-level conference on Deep tech entrepreneurship for an innovative, resilient, and competitive internal market.
The deep tech sector is a prioritized sector for Sweden and the EU as it holds the key to make Europe globally competitive. The conference is organized to provide a forum for knowledge exchange and co-implementation within the framework of the New European Innovation Agenda (NEIA) and the Action Plan on Intellectual Property (APIP).
The key challenges that the conference will focus on are:
• The importance of research-intensive companies for the green and digital transformation
• Strategic use and management of intellectual assets
• Financing for growth in Europe
• Improved collaboration between small research-intensive companies, large companies, and academia
