CLEANING up BRANCHE after a FALLER TREE during FLOOD
On this job we were responsible for clearing branches from a fallen tree during a flood and the tree we cut down in the previous video due to a neighboring flood calamity.
We chipped all the branches from the conifer trees using a jensen a540 chipper up to 12m3 and an 8m3 trailer to reduce the mass. We will continue to use the chips from the branches.
We loaded the tree trunk with an avant 640 loader into a cart and an iveco daily dump truck. All the material has been transported behind a volkswagen touareg V10 5.0L 323HP.
At the end of the video you can see how we wanted to dump the wood chips on the pile, but after jumping off the handles the trailer immediately started to tip to one side, so we immediately snapped it and had to call for emergency help.
We gradually unloaded the chip cart so we could put it back on the landing points. We managed to get half of the load off and were able to unload it. At the end we assessed the damage and whether for a bit of a bent frame all is well. The truck has straightened out again after loading and is now working as it should!
