There were many versions of this fidget, but here we are clearly dealing with the second generation. The design and arrangement of magnets have changed, which has improved ergonomics, the toy is even louder, but something at the cost of something else, because the FT86 is no longer as compact as the original FT19, but that is exactly what the gen2 designation is about - it works similarly, but it is a completely new form and is by no means a replacement for its predecessor.
