This is a very special project... The customer purchased a very exclusive fabric - a luxury velvet with a beautiful peacock pattern. Honestly, the images don't do it justice as it shimmers in the light.
The suite was designed from scratch to the customer's specifications. Originally, it was designed with a square corner, but then the customer asked it to be curved. Our team at Home Upholstery obliged accordingly, with a sturdy steel and wood frame design that will last generations.
The fabric was also cut to maximise the full effect of the detail in the fabric, hence the peacocks are featured on the fronts of the arms.
The cushions were upholstered with Dunlop Enduro Foam, Latex foam rubber AND MemoryFoam, and encased in a feather wrap containing luxurious duck down for extreme comfort. The back cushions contain MemoryFoam encased in the same feather wrap. This lounge literally molds itself to your body,, cossetting you with feather-backed velvet. It's like sitting on a cloud!
