HeadStart is a federally-funded program that provides education, health and social services to eligible families with children from 3-5 y/o.
Witness firsthand the importance of healthy eating habits for kids and foodservice protocols as we ensure the safety and quality of meals.
This rotation is part of my Community Nutrition course. Next up, I'll be going to WIC, another federal nutrition assistance program for women, infants and children.
