Throughout our 85+ year history, Keystone has provided services to strengthen the capacity of individuals and families to improve their quality of life.
Food insecurity remains a priority, with record numbers of participants visiting Keystone’s food shelf sites, Foodmobiles (mobile food shelf), and free farmer’s markets food distributions. Our call for services grows by more than 25% each year, with many participants never having visited a food shelf before.
The hunger crisis has intensified and we know that food insecurity can affect different people at different times in their lives. Keystone’s food support services are available for our neighbors when an unexpected expense or health crisis hits.
Keystone is literally “driving food security forward” with our innovative expansion of food support services out into our communities:
Keystone's Foodmobiles – our food shelf on wheels - bring food support directly to 28 community locations (and growing!) each month, including to low-income senior apartment complexes, supportive housing for people with disabilities, primary care clinics, colleges, and low-income neighborhoods that don't have easy access to a food shelf or transit.
Food shelf home delivery program, bringing fresh produce, meat and dairy items, pantry staples and household items to 125 older adults and people with disabilities each month.
To donate and help us to meet the needs of our community by meeting our neighbors where they need it most, or learn more about our services: www.keystoneservices.org
