Definitely after finding out, My ex Friend turned out to be a Trump supporter. Having completely different morals than me. Inspired me to do an AMV of this song. Remember guys it’s not a difference in opinion it’s a difference in morals.. if you have a different favorite color than me we can disagree and still be friends because no one’s getting hurt by those differences. But when it’s a difference in morals where someone wants to take away your rights as a human being that’s not a different opinion. So I have every right to distance myself from people that have hurtful views that are against me in my community. People that are losing friends because of politics that voted for Trump are losing those friends because of the consequences of their actions. I know I don’t necessarily speak out about these type of things. But I felt the need to.. I don’t have to ignore someone’s hateful views and be friends with them when it makes me uncomfortable and goes against everything I stand for, if you have to ignore your whole sense of yourself to be friends with someone then you’re not compatible. I am very much against hate and racism and homophobia and transphobia. Trump supporters are all about that. And I want nothing to do with that. Anyway, that’s it.
