This video shows my workflow for developing aluminum frontplates for my DIY modulair synth.

I designed the circuit in EasyEDA, exporting them to Fusion360 but found a strange conversion problem in scaling; I'll show you possible solution.

I started designing and building my modules but also wanted them to have a nice finished look; so why not create them with my CNC machine!?

There's room for improvement obviously, but considering these aluminum frontplates are made with a DIY CNC machine and a bit of WD40, I'm quite pleased!

3mm VHM flat endmill, 10mm

Bigger holes and contour:
6mm VHM flat endmill, 12mm

Coolant: WD40
