We are a large family Vorobey, living in Belarus. 2 years ago we bought an abandoned club for reconstruction and the realization of our dream of having our own big cozy house. The main repair lasted a year and we traveled 100 km for this. Everything fell into the hands of my husband, since he is a builder. A year later, we moved to an unfinished house, it is easier to do repairs when you are on site. And a year has already passed since we moved from the city to the village.
But with the arrival of spring and when we were so looking forward to warmth and sun, an unexpected unknown diagnosis came for our daughter. For a month we were in the dark, tense and waiting... Two biopsies showed nothing, but then they took a third and removed the enlarged lymph node at the same time. On June 13, the final diagnosis was osteoblastoma-like osteosarcoma of high malignancy. And in June, we began chemotherapy... On October 26, my daughter had an operation to remove the affected part of the bone and a temporary prosthesis was installed. Now, while the stitches are healing, we are waiting for the long-awaited endoprosthesis to arrive....
We have eight children: six sons and two daughters.
