How To Make VAPORWAVE ...ish [Retrowave/Synthwave/Outrun]
In this video tutorial, you will learn about the Synthwave inspired micro genre of VAPORWAVE. You will learn how to make Vaporwave like FM Skyline, Rhodes Rodosu, and 憂鬱 in Logic Pro X. We will cover retro arpeggiated synths, retro bass, retro lead synths, and 80s drums all using a tape aesthetic. The concepts outlined in this video mostly use stock Logic plugins however, they are transferable to other DAW software such as Ableton and FL studio as the techniques stay the same.
We will focus on breaking down a pre-made track to learn about mixing and creative instrumentation techniques that suit the VAPORWAVE style.
