After building a DIY foundry to recycle the metal scrap from our DIY machine shop, we wanted to build a machine that can recycle our plastic scrap as well. We built SHREDII, a tiny yet very powerful DIY shredding device that recycles our 3D prints and other various plastics into small shreds that we can then use in INJEKTO 2. Our ultimate goal was to reduce the plastic waste we produce and the process was definitely very challenging.
