In this video, we make the Item scene and create a Json file from a text document. The Item scene appears in the inventories to show what item is in the slots and how much of said item is there. The Json file complies the different stats of the items (Stack Size) into one convenient place for us to access and change at any time.
At the end of the video, we also discuss future plans for this series and outline said plans. We still have to make an inventory system for the chests, making the inventories actually useful, and creating an Item Drop scene that way we can pick up items on the ground and drop items from our inventory.
Thank you for watching my videos, I hope I can inspire you to follow what you want to do through these videos as I want to code video games and/or apps.
