Our mother tongue is key to expressing our feeling, thoughts and emotions. To the hearing person, it is easy to acquire their mother tongue by just listening to others speak. This is not possible for the deaf person and this makes them to feel isolated, lonely and marginalized.

Following the International day of the mother language whose theme is to promote multilingualism for inclusive education and society, It will be important to do the following three things to build an inclusive society for people with hearing impairment

1) Educate deaf children
2) Do not isolate them
3) Learn the sign language
