Koose is a popular street food in Ghana and it is mostly with Hausa or Ayuo Koko or as a snack. It is also common in West Africa among the Hausa people of Northern Nigeria , Dagombas in Ghana, Sierra Leone and Cameroon. Cuba and Brazil also have a similar one called acaraje and to some in the Congo community it is known as Koose tankuwa.
for the nutritional benefits, I would say that it is a lot. It contains fibre, antioxidant properties and proteins. It is also recommended for vegetarians.
