Why is Overwatch Lore SO GOOD?
I've been playing overwatch semi-consistently since 2016. I remember my peak rank being somewhere in master or grandmaster so I think it's safe to say that I know what I'm talking about when I say that overwatch has fell off since it's release. I haven't played overwatch 2 as consistently as ow1 but I'm relatively aware of what's going on in the ow2 scene. What I find surprising, however, is that art never falls off. The reason the mona lisa is still good 500 years later is that it's objectively good art. movies are also art, because they can take us back to the time in which the movie came out. You can watch a movie dozens of times and still come out having learned something new. Likewise, overwatch animated shorts are genuinely good, even compared to some of the greatest movies. Their acting, cinematography, storytelling, and music are really high quality and make overwatch animated shorts something that can stand on their own, regardless of how good the game actually is, simply because they are essentially pieces of art, meanwhile the game isn't. It's insane to me how fast my channel is growing. My gta 4 vid just hit 38k views, which is more than anything I have put on the internet has ever gotten, which is insane to think about. I can't even conceive of that number. I haven't really picked a specific niche of videos to stick to but it's aight cause I'm still a relatively small channel lol. It's nice to think that what I'm typing right now is being read by you. I appreciate you. FYI, I'm not an overwatch channel lol. I wouldn't subject myself to that kind of torture. That's like being a twitter user living in Ohio. I just made a video on something that I'm passionate about that I don't think I've ever seen people touch on before.
