ABOUT:
UK-based hard rock band, WEBB brings a refreshing sound to the rock world. Front man, Ryan Webb, combines intelligently written songs with strong, powerful vocals, and outstanding guitar skills. His ability to perform intricate riffs while singing dynamic, yet smouldering vocals that breathe life into emotive lyrical content has garnered praise from industry critics, and his genre-defying tracks have impressed music fans keen for versatility.
Starting out in 2015 Ryan (under his own name) began writing songs that had a classic-rock feel to them. In 2018, Ryan wrote and recorded his 9-track album, STOP THE WORLD! The album had a heavier feel than his previously released music. Apart from the lyrics which were written by his wife Sonya, drums by James Wise and mastering by Pete Maher, everything else was written, sang, played, produced and mixed by Ryan.
In 2020, Ryan felt he still hadn’t mastered the sound he really wanted, and wrote DON’T! This was when he realised that he had found the heavy sound he had been trying to achieve. The single was mastered by Dave Collins (Metallica). The single was released during the first lockdown in an effort to raise much needed funds for the veteran-run organisation, All Call Signs.
In 2021 Ryan decided on a name change to simply, WEBB, and was signed to Alpha Band Management & WDFD Records.
