Doctor Who - The Nostalgia mix
Yeah, a bit of a weird one. It's an attempt to reminisce over my childhood, where I used to watch a lot of McCoy stories, particularly "Remembrance of The Daleks". There's something about Keff McCulloch's arrangement of the theme that's so melancholic, and really feels like the end of an era. The end almost fades away into the distance, as you attempt to grasp it, to explore more, but it's already over, hence why the bulk of this theme is from the end of the full arrangement.
I'm no expert at remixing, and I don't own any true samples that I can use (except Steve Titford's Rocked Radiophonic Stems), so I had to use isolations I found on Youtube, as well as just trying my best to sample and "isolate" bits of themes by myself.
