Configuring VoIP for Voice-based Alarm Notifications
VTScada has always supported voice-based alarm notifications using voice modems or Twilio®. In version 12.1 we introduced voice over IP (VoIP) as an alternative method for internal networks only using ATA devices. In version 12.1.36 we added encryption to allow the use of external SIP trunking providers or other VoIP telephony service providers to do voice-based alarm notifications. We also added voice redundancy so you can specify multiple methods of making voice-based alarm calls that can take over in sequence if the primary method fails.
