Custom-making a Mobile Table (using CDIO)
We recycle old wood and related components and turn it into a functional custom-made movable table. We walk the viewers through the process step-by-step. The goal is to show how art, design and engineering is necessary to transform a basic idea on paper into a tangible working prototype. Although this is a very simple example, the underlying CDIO concept and process cycle can be utilized to effectively conceptualize modern and sophisticated engineering products. NB: CDIO = Conceive, Design, Implement and Operate.
